What We Do

We leverage the learnings gained from establishing Youth Inc. - a radically reimagined ‘unschool’ for young people who have been marginalised in mainstream education.

Because we create new schools which don't fit the traditional mould, we have a wealth of knowledge, tricks, tips and workarounds that simplify and accelerate the process of innovating in Education.

Our goal is now to use this knowledge as we work with communities, making it easier to create more new, innovative schools that enable young people to reengage in education and create powerful change wherever they go.

Events

Learning events and experiences bringing you the brightest minds in education.

Sometimes it's hard to pull inspiration out of a hat. Our journey has been influenced by interacting with diverse and divergent thinkers who have changed their world.

We design these events to inject new thinking into our work and create a community of like-minded people to learn alongside.

Networks

Our dedication to improving the educational landscape extends beyond our school walls.

The Youth Inc. Learning Exchange supports several initiatives to develop thriving and innovative educational ecosystems, including:

  • Innovative Schools Network

  • South Australian SAS Network

We work at the intersection of education leaders, researchers, policymakers and entrepreneurs. We collaborate, share best practices, and create new solutions to the challenges facing education today.

The diversity of these networks reflects the advancements, challenges, and vital work of educators in Australia and beyond.

Who We Work With

We’re in the business of big ideas and so are you. So what’s next?

As a school we don't subscribe to the idea that education is the sole domain of registered teachers. We believe diversity—of backgrounds, opinions, experiences, and disciplines—is essential in creating innovative approaches to engage young learners.

As a result, we collaborate and partner with individuals, communities, and stakeholders from all walks of life. We create projects with diverse teams who have the desire to envision the future of education.
